Several airlines have announced changes to fuel surcharges and war risk surcharges on air cargo shipments to Israel.
EL AL Cargo
The fuel surcharge on routes from Europe to Israel has been canceled, as per EL AL’s announcement.
Challenge Airlines
On routes from Europe to Israel, the following surcharges will apply:
- War Risk Surcharge – EUR 0.60 per kg
- Effective March 30, 2026, a Fuel Surcharge of EUR 0.60 per kg will be added
On routes from Hong Kong to Israel, effective April 1, 2026, the following surcharges will apply:
- Fuel Surcharge of HKD 9.80 (≈ USD 1.25) per kg
- Existing War Risk Surcharge of USD 2.00 per kg
These surcharges will apply to the relevant shipments and will be updated in accordance with airline announcements.
