Air Import Shipments to Israel – Airlines Surcharges

Following recent updates received from the airlines, additional fuel surcharges and war risk surcharges have been introduced on air cargo shipments to Israel.

According to the announcement by EL AL Cargo, effective March 20, 2026, a fuel surcharge of EUR 0.55 per kg will be applied to import shipments on routes between Europe and Israel.

In addition, according to Challenge Airlines, a war risk surcharge has been implemented on the following routes (effective March 3, 2026):

• Europe to Israel: EUR 0.60 per kg
  
• Hong Kong to Israel: USD 2.00 per kg
  
• USA to Israel: USD 0.65 per kg
  

These surcharges will apply to the relevant shipments in accordance with airline announcements and their ongoing updates.
