Air Freight

Airports

  • Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) – Cargo terminals (Maman and Swissport) operating with limited staffing. 
  • Haifa Airport –  Closed
  • Eilat Airport – Closed

Airlines

El Al

  • Cargo flight to Milan – Monday, 2.3.26
  • Cargo flight to Frankfurt – Monday, 2.3.26
  • Cargo flight to Athens – Tuesday, 3.3.26
  • Possible cargo flight to Liège for pre-booked ground cargo (primarily agriculture)
  • Additional cargo flights may be announced later today

Cargo flights operating during this period will have limited capacity, with priority given to pharmaceuticals and other urgent shipments.

CAL Cargo Airlines

  • Flights to New York on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (March 3, 5, 7)
  • Flights to Liège on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (March 2, 3, 4)

United Airlines

  • Cargo uplift via Athens (ATH) / Frankfurt (FRA), onward to U.S. destinations (EWR / IAD / ORD) and to Canada / South America (YYZ / YUL)

 Ocean Freight

  • All Israeli seaports are operational.
  • Container discharges are taking place regularly at all ports.
  • There are minor vessel delays; however, all shipping lines are currently calling Israeli ports as usual.

MSC – Bookings from UAE ports (Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi) and Bahrain are not being accepted, and vessels will not call these ports. Service from other origins continues as normal.

Hazardous Materials (DG Cargo) – In accordance with The Israeli Home Front Command directives, transportation of hazardous materials is subject to restrictions and requires special permits for quantities exceeding defined thresholds.
For shipments including dangerous goods, we recommend forwarding full cargo details in advance for review and coordination to ensure full compliance.

Border Crossings & Customs Offices

Central Israel

  • Israel Post – Operating with limited staffing
  • Herzliya Marina – Departures continuing; returns gradually resuming

Southern Israel

  • Begin (Taba) Crossing – Operating 24/7 (3 shifts)
  • Rabin Crossing – Cargo terminal closed. Operating hours: 6:30–20:00 and 20:00–23:00. Flights may operate to Aqaba Airport with ground transfer to the border crossing.
  • Ashdod South Terminal – Operating 24/7 (3 shifts)
  • Nitzana Crossing – Closed

Jordan River Crossing

  • Cargo terminal – Closed
  • Passenger crossing – 08:00 to 17:00 

Allenby Crossing

  • Commercial terminal – Closed
  • Passenger crossing – 08:00 to17:00

Tarqumiya, Sha’ar Ephraim, Gilboa, Bitunia, and Kerem Shalom – Closed.
